After I allowed the win10 automatically installed nvidia drivers, I downloaded the 3080 gameing box REV2.0 driver and installed it again, then I cannot open the nvidia control panel on the desktop.ġ I donot think it's necessary to install the thunderbolt driver manually, it should not be the key problem. When the Nvidia graphics card could not be recognized normally, the EGPU fan kept making a loud sound, and once the graphics card was recognized, the sound became very low and it was running Sure,I met the " nvidia control panel" problem. Then found that the problem was solved, the triangle symbol (ERROR 12) on the Nvidia graphics card disappeared.Ĩ. Restart, enter WIN10 normal mode, and then install the RTX 3080 GAMING BOX driver which issued by Gigabyte immediately.ħ. In safe mode, run DDU, removed all the Nvidia driver data from OS. Cut off the network connection to prevent the WIN 10 operating system from automatically downloading and installing the Nvidia graphics card driver.ĥ.

I just solved the error 12 problem so wanted to share the process although it has limited representative.
